Jesus Ballester passed away earlier this morning and so his life's work in the support of Bücker aircraft has come to a close. Jesus had suffered with heart problems for a long time. He underwent surgery earlier this year, and again in the last few weeks, but was not able to recover this time.

Jesus contributed enormously to the world-wide community of Bücker owners and we are all going to miss him. I would like to put together an obituary/article to record Jesus' work, but that will need to wait for a little while.

In the meantime, watch this short documentary about Bucker Prado SA in Albacete. It's a fascinating glimpse of the company, and its proprietor Jesus Ballester.

The movie was broadcast on French Television channel 3 and is presented by well known aviation journalist Bernard Chabbert.

Click the image to watch the movie. Even if your French is as sorry as mine, you should watch it to remember Jesus, admire the area in which he lived, and enjoy some nice Jungmann flying.

Adiós viejo amigo.
